Kitchen Rules

• Prohibited:
  • Campers are NOT permitted to use the kitchen for their own cooking and food storage.
  • There is NO DISHWASHING at camp
• To heat water or food, please coordinate with your pod to bring a kettle, or electric burner.

• To eat without needing to wash your dish:
  • Cover your plate in paper foil and then toss it.
  • Lick it clean and then use a sprayer with water and vinegar to wet it, and wipe with paper tower.

Kitchen Day Lead (vetted shift)

• Each day we will need Kitchen Day Lead to help manage the kitchen staff with Miya
• It’s a 7 hour ish shift that will cover most or all of your shift hours
• We’re currently looking for Kitchen Day Leads! So please sign up!
• If you’re interested at all, please fill out the Kitchen Lead Questionnaire and then Miya will reach out to you directly and talk to you about it more

Kitchen Co-lead (vetted shift)

• The Cleaning and Sanitization Superstar!
• Your mission: keep the kitchen sparkling while we whip up delicious meals.
• You'll be the hero washing dishes, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring everything stays tidy and safe.
• With your attention to detail and positive attitude, you'll create a clean and inviting space for everyone.
• It’s a 7 hour ish shift that will cover most or all of your shift hours
