FAQS
Can multiple people shower together?
- Yes! Four generously proportioned stalls allow for couples, possibly more
Can non-KK campers use our showers?
- No. The showers are wristband operated and only KK campers will have the wristbands.
- If you bring a non-KK camper into the showers with you thatโs generally ok, but be aware of their privacy and that it will use up more of your water allotment!
How many showers can I take?
- There is no set number of showers, instead each camper is allotted a predetermined volume of water for bathing, defined as minutes of water flow for the duration of the Burn. See above.
- For 2024, the allotment is 10 minutes or approx. 15 gallons of water per camper for the duration of the Burn.
- A "pause/play" button within each stall allows the responsible camper to conserve allotted water while lathering up, etc.
- Shower products
- ONLY bring Castille soap or other biodegradable, low foam soap/body wash. Otherwise the suds will become a nightmare.
- Dr. Bronners is a preferred soap for many campers.
- As an added tip, if you mix your liquid soap with a bit of vinegar or lemon juice right before bathing it will help lower your skin's PH level!
- Absolutely no products with microbeads!
