Build week is 8/19 Mon - 8/24 Sat.

You can arrive as early as 8/15 Thu.

Pre-Build Crew:

• You can arrive as early as 8/15 Thu.
• We spend the weekend before Mon 8/19 on supply runs.
• If you’re coming before build week (before Mon 8/19), we will be covering your stay.
• You will be arriving with Monday Build Crew.

Build Crew:

• If you arrive on playa before 8/24 Saturday.
• You will be fed 3 meals during build week by our kitchen.
• You will get to choose volunteer shifts earlier, as detailed in VOLUNTEER SHIFTS
• Make sure you’re in the Build Crew Chat on WhatsApp, where we coordinate everything.
• Set Up Access Pass (SAP)
  • If you do not have a SAP, you will NOT be able to enter playa before 12am Sunday 8/27 (unless you’re on a BxB or the KK Bus).
  • You receive SAPs from camps, who receives them from Burning Man Org.
  • KK will only provide you a SAP if you’re part of build crew.

Build Crew Transport to Playa:

• We will shuttle our build crew to playa with our rental vans at these 2 times:
  • 8/19 Monday - 8am shuttle from wherever most of the crew is staying
  • 8/21 Wednesday - 8am shuttle from wherever most of the crew is staying
• Anybody who cannot make those shuttles can:
  • Drive in yourself
  • Coordinate within Build Crew Chat or generally within camp chats to carpool together
  • Coordinate with friends coming to BM during build week.
  • Not come to build week :(

Build Crew Arrival Groups:

• Mon build crew
  • If you are landing in the Reno area between Thu 8/15 - Sun 8/18 and planning to arrive at Playa/camp Monday 8/19 morning.
