KK provides drinking water for campers

A large potable tank will be in center of camp with nozzle for us to fill camel backs, water bottles, etc.

Camp Water Rules

• Our drinking water will be in a large potable water tank.
  • This is our drinking water, for campers to refill their water bottles and packs.
  • It is NOT A WASHBASIN, NOT FOR SPITTING YOUR TOOTHPASTE, ETC.
  • The water filling station features stainless drip pans ONLY for catching drips and the occasional errant bottle overflow.
  • Keep our drinking water tank clean. IF IT GETS FULL, DUMP IT IN THE GRAY WATER TANK.
• You will need 1.5 gallons of water per person per day for drinking, washing, and cleaning.
• ALWAYS carry a full water bottle when you leave camp!
• Camp does not provide hot water, except for showers
• DO NOT DUMP ANY KIND OF WATER ON THE PLAYA! Not even clean water!
• Gray Water
  • The Gray Water tank is located near the showers, behind the kitchen.
  • This is the ONLY acceptable repository for your toothpaste spit, or the soiled water from your personal washbasin.
• Black Water
  • Black water is URINE, FECES, VOMIT, all of which must go in the Ecozoic Toilets without any plastic bags or other material.
